Entertainment Revue | The Stars Of The Future

Have you ever walked into a room and just by the sound of what you heard, you instantly smiled?? 

I was invited to watch a rehearsal for Entertainment Revue recently, and as I walked into the room, I heard such a beautiful melody. I turned the corner and saw the girls from the group, warming up their voices. Some holding hands, some with their eyes closed, but each of them working so well together to make that unified melody... (insert that big smile here)

Entertainment Revue, founded in 1989, is a professional performance ensemble that develops young talent in song, dance and performing. The talented girls of Entertainment Revue perform many shows through out the year from community events to professional sporting events. 

The talent of Entertainment Revue is led by Creative Director, Jessica Rhodes. Jessica, is an Entertainment Revue alumni with an impressive arts and theater background, having continued her education and worked in New York City for many years. Jessica brought her passion for the performing arts back to her hometown of Tampa, to nurture and coach the growing talent of Entertainment Revue! 

My God-daughter, Gabriella is in the cast of Entertainment Revue and I love watching her talent grow.  (Just call me the President of her fan club) I have no doubt she and many of the cast members of the group, will go on to do amazing things in the industry. Many Entertainment Revue alumni have gone 

onto to sign recording contracts, perform on Broadway and even star in television shows. 

So, if you have a talented child, this could be the place for them to grow musically and professionally! 

This year's cast has 5 high school seniors who will be graduating and moving on to college. These seniors have been mentors for the younger girls who like them, are growing up in the group today. I asked a few of the seniors what they loved most about being in Entertainment Revue, they said the friendships, hands down! 

"The sisterhood I've grown to have with these girls, is what I'll miss the most, " Brianna Serafin, Entertainment Revue senior. 

The sisterhood among these girls was pretty special to see. They were very encouraging of one another  and even helped each other with quick costume changes in between numbers.

Entertainment Revue will be holding auditions for new cast members on May 15th, 2021. If you have or know a talented young lady, you can contact Jessica to attend auditions for the next generation of Entertainment Revue stars!
