Family Holiday Happenings | Christmas In Tampa

The holidays have arrived in Tampa Bay! And the best part, the wonderful blast of cool air that's sticking around to help it really feel like Christmas time is here!!

I've complied a list of some fun things happening around town to help you & your family get in the holiday spirit!

Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park is where you'll find Tampa's only outdoor ice skating rink! Take the family ice skating, do a little shopping at the adorable pop-up shops & then grab a snack at the Café. There's so much to do downtown! Be sure to check out the full calendar of events happening, including the city of Tampa's Tree Lighting & Free Movie In The Park, here!

Enchant Christmas at Tropicana Field is sure to be an amazing experience! The world's largest maze has arrived to only 3 cities in the country, Seattle, WA, Washington D.C, & St. Pete, FL! Our family is so excited to finally visit the Christmas light maze, Christmas market & skate along the Ice Skating Trail! And...I've heard that Santa is making an appearance somewhere within the maze! For tickets and special events happening at Enchant this season, visit Enchantchristmas.com!

Christmas Town at Busch Gardens is a perfect spot to bring the family to visit the animals of Busch Gardens, stroll through Christmas lights, visit Santa and even ride some coasters for the thrill seekers in your family! Christmas Town will be open until January 6th!

Winter's Wonderland At Clearwater Marine Aquarium is the perfect time to visit Winter & Hope & the other resident animals of CMA! On select nights, families can hop on the Sea Of Lights Boat Ride to enjoy the sights of the season from the water! With a cup of hot cocoa & a special Christmas story inspired by the animals of CMA, this would make for a very special holiday treat for the family!

Heights Holiday Festival at Armature Works will be the first annual holiday festival at Armature, promising lots of fun and festive activities for families & will double as a toy & non-perishable food drive for those in need this season! Grinchmas at Sparkman Wharf is the perfect spot to bring those with a love for the Grinch himself! A meet & greet with the Grinch, crafts with The Mommy Spot and Whoville singers for a fun evening at Sparkman is scheduled for December 19th.

Snow Days at The Florida Aquarium is a great place for some fun after the holidays! The kids will still be home from school & this would make for a super fun spot to bring the family for an evening of fun playing in real snow! Snow Days will begin December 26th! Click here for more info!
