Blue Apron

Some exciting stuff coming to the blog, very soon! Stay tuned...but here's a hint... :)

More on this, very, very soon!!!

Park City Getaway || Part 2

Snow much fun, awaited us on Saturday, the morning of the wedding! Excitedly, we joined a group of wedding guests (the groom included!) to make a couple runs down the slopes before the big event later! So, off we went to try out the "best snow on Earth!"

After we were outfitted with our equipment at Cole Sport, (with the nicest staff ever, by the way) we walked down to the slopes! We skied at Silver Lake that morning and it was beautiful! Beautiful weather, not uncomfortably cold, just gorgeous views and snow!!

The view was stunning but I was terrified to drop my phone!!
This was our first time skiing on the West Coast, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The runs were wide and much longer than we were used too, but it was so much fun! Since it was the beginning of their ski season, the locals told us there wasn't as much powder yet, but it was a great time either way!

The Best Man, Nick, myself and my hubby on the chairlift.

Because my hubby had groomsmen duties to attend too, he left the slopes earlier than me. I took one last run down the mountain and at the end, I met a new friend! Cheryl Hines from Curb Your Enthusiasm was also in Deer Valley and staying at our same resort for a charity ski tournament! We were fast friends and she was kind enough to take a photo. This was the first of our celebrity sightings this weekend!

Grateful one of the girls spotted this beautiful blue door! It was a must take photo!

After skiing, I met up with the wives for some more fun before the wedding! We were 'Ladies who lunch' in beautiful downtown, Park City!
The transportation staff at The Montage, was wonderful! We were driven down with the nicest drivers and given wonderful recommendations each time! Including, an insider tip of where to find a few of the famous graffiti artist, Banksy, protected works of art! Very cool!!

After a little shopping (mostly for our kiddos) we stopped for lunch at 501 on Main, which came highly recommended! It did not disappoint, in fact, my hubby and I were back the next day with more friends for lunch!! :)

After our delicious lunch, we did a little more sightseeing before heading back to the resort to get ready for the fun night ahead! It was such a treat to have some extra time with these great friends!

I mean, could these two girls on my side be any more, beautiful? We grabbed a quick selfie on our short drive to the ceremony site, Empire Lodge Canyon.

After our quick, coat check, we were welcomed by a gorgeous fireplace and even more beautiful backdrop for the approaching ceremony! (Sadly, I didn't get a great picture of the florals all over the fireplace, but trust me, it was stunning!)

Mr. & Mrs. Brandau!!! How cute are they??

So, you know the drill, photos for the bridal party and family, means cocktail hour is next! We were able to fit in, a few of our own photo ops, when the guys were finished!

Shortly after, we were escorted into the beautiful grand hall, for the reception...and oh my word! It was stunning. Truly, the most gorgeous wedding. I love little details, and not one was missed!

The beautiful arrangement went the entire length of the head table.

I love, LOVE Mercury glass. Many of my Christmas ornaments are Mercury glass. The beautiful Mercury glass candles mixed in with all the gorgeous white flowers, it was just spectacular!

Did I mention, how incredibly handsome my hubby looked that night? I was smitten.

The Best Man, Nick, gave a lovely speech. All the speeches in fact, were really beautiful. There was so much love in the room for the Bride & Groom, Ashley & Josh! We love you!!

Now, lets talk about when the real fun begins!!!!!

Yes, that's the Bride, Ashley, hoisted up, while everyone sang and danced! It was a fun night! :)

Love these girls. We had such a blast dancing the night away!

We know, how to have a good time!!!

Remember earlier I mentioned we had more celebrity sightings at our hotel? Well, as we were headed down to the bowling alley on the resort, yes... there was bowling on site at The Montage & it was awesome!! My husband spotted J. B. Smooth and he happily took a picture! Also sitting with him, was Pierce Brosnan!! We quickly snapped our photos and joined our group at the after party at Daly's Pub!

We wrapped up our late night, probably near 2 am!! Yikes! Parents gone wild!! Not something we do often, or really...ever, but, you know what? We had a blast! The whole day was amazing! So very happy for our newly married friends, The Brandaus.

We had a full day left before we caught our red-eye flight back home, so we enjoyed the day together!

We spent the day, walking downtown, eating delicious food and enjoying the company of new friends we made on the trip! Park City, you are adorable and we can't wait to come back again soon!

One last s'more, before we left for the airport!

The late flight crew!

One last photo in front of those beautiful lit up trees, that lined the drive into The Montage. It had actually started snowing when were snapped this picture!

Many, many blessings to the newlyweds! We were so grateful to be there to celebrate with you!

Now, it was time to get home to my babies!!! I know they were in excellent hands, but we really missed them! My big boy, even lost another tooth while we were away!! :(
Needless to say, we had a wonderful trip together and made lots of memories we'll cherish forever!

**If you will be traveling to Park City in the near future, email me! I would love to give you the same recommendations that were shared with us! :)
