The Proses go to Disney!

As I promised, I'm sharing a few photos from our trip to Disney, earlier this month.

Just us three. It was the most perfect day. The weather was gorgeous and we were thrilled to enjoy every moment with our little guy.

Here's a look at our magical day at The Magic Kingdom!
Just as we arrived, a Mickey & Friends parade!

My little cutie waiving at every friend on the floats!

After the parade, we headed over to the newly re-opened Fantasyland! And we stumbled upon Winnie The Pooh and Tigger!!

My little guy absolutely loved The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction. I loved it too because it was full of interactive games and play areas along the waiting lines. Perfect, perfect for impatient little toddlers! A+ attraction!!

Meeting Buzz Lightyear!!

If you know Jack, you know that he loves Toy Story, especially Buzz! He was napping in his stroller when we first saw Buzz. So, we waited for him to finish his 'siesta' & brought him as soon as he awoke!!

Ending a perfect day...

We got ourselves a Mickey ice cream & enjoyed one last parade before heading home!

We had such a wonderful time! I'm so blessed to have this little family.

Mother's Day Tea Party

The hostess in me, loves any reason to have a party and to entertain guests. Mother's Day was the perfect occasion to have a tea party so, Jack and I hosted a Mother's Day Tea for some of our friends and their Mommies. The only down side, was not being able to share this sweet party with the all the wonderful Mommy friends & family I have, that live all over the country or couldn't make it, but I celebrate each of you, by having an extra brownie in your honor!!!! :)

Here's a look at our special Mother's Day Tea Party!

We enjoyed an Rooibos Asian Pear Tea, with cucumber-avocado sandwiches, curry chicken salad croissants, blueberry muffins, danishes, pound cake with berries, oh and brownies too! It came together beautifully! A big thank you ladies for bringing treats to share!!

Of course our little tots joined in the dainty-tea-party-fun! "Cheers!"

These sweet little girls couldn't get enough of all the girly-ness, while our little boys stacked the tea cups high and ate all the leftovers!

A happy Mother's Day to all of my fabulous Mommy friends!

And this little guy... I'm so proud to be his Mommy.

Wishing all the Mothers out there, a sweet, sweet day! Happy Mother's Day!

We're going to Disney!

I don't know who is more excited about this trip to Disney, Jack or Mommy? We've been counting down and preparing all week for our visit to the Magic Kingdom. Tomorrow is the big day!!

This won't be Jack's 1st official visit, but his 2nd time to this magical place. Either way, we are all excited for some quality family time with Mickey and all his friends!

Before we go, I wanted to share our excitement and a quick list I complied of must haves for the trip!

  • sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat for my boy
  • camera, iphone, tickets, and cash
  • and a very special Mickey shirt for Jack!
One of my amazing friends made this adorable t-shirt for his birthday and now he'll sport it for his trip to Disney World! She also made his t-shirt for his 1st visit last year! Check out their Etsy Shop here!

Thank you so much Creations By Jeanne for making Jack's Disney shirt again this year!!

Stay tuned for pictures from our magical day!

Feeding the birds

My boy has really enjoyed watching the birds, flying all around the house these days.
I decided to make a "burd feedur" aka bird feeder with Jack, for our neighborhood birds. We have a couple of red cardinals, blue jays and a busy woodpecker that visit us daily. We haven't been able to snap a good photo of these colorful friends, but hopefully with the help of our bird feeders, they'll stay for a picture! I'm sharing our easy-to-do bird feeder so you can meet your neighborhood birds too!

Here's what  you need to make your own!

- an empty toilet paper roll
- peanut butter to serve as glue
- a pipe cleaner for hanging
- bird seed

After spreading some peanut butter on the tp roll, we rolled it in the bird seed.

Then we tied the pipe cleaner to the roll for hanging on the tree.

And, viola! Our bird feeder is ready for hanging and feeding the birds!

Hoping we'll get to share some pictures of our lovely bird neighbors, but until then...
Here's something neat Daddy found in our driveway, a baby bird egg shell!
